The fact that our JV boys basketball team is comprised of largely fourth graders playing mostly fifth and sixth graders is irrelevant to these boys when they get on the court.  These 8 young gentlemen play to the glory of God every game and it shows.  With determination in every play, these boys play as if they are playing for the championship.

Just past the midpoint of their season, our JV Vikings put up their biggest game ever, winning 41-18!  I have never seen these boys play so well, moving the ball with the maturity of any varsity team.  Special recognition should be given to 5th grade center, Josh, with 15 points and countless rebounds and 4th grade guard, Tanner, who put up 13 points and numerous assists as well.  With over half of the Trinity bench scoring, it was, needless to say, a great night for our kids.  Please be sure to congratulate our JV team and coaches, Coach Colter and Coach Peoples, when you see them.  Better yet, join us for our next game on Monday, January 26 at 6:00 PM (previously scheduled for 7:00, so be sure to change your calendars) in the St. Luke’s Lutheran School (Oviedo) gymnasium.
