Dear Trinity Family,
Today the teachers met together for the first time to further prepare for a grand beginning of the school year. I think you will agree with me upon reading about the teachers’ degrees, professional experiences, and Trinity assignments for 2015-16 that a great year of Growing Together is in store for your child! While the qualifications vary considerably from teacher to teacher, I can assure you that each chose to teach at Trinity because of our Christian beliefs and Lutheran foundations, and each is eagerly looking forward to this year of Growing Together:

Mrs. Brooke McKinnon, MA, Kindergarten

Mrs. McKinnon continues in her sixth year as Kindergarten teacher at Trinity, following two initial years of teaching in Florida charter schools.
Mrs. Peg Green, MA Grade 1

Mrs Green enters her third year of teaching at Trinity, in her twenty-plus year career in public and private school teaching.
Ms. Robin Beltz, BA Grades 2-3

Following her seven years of instruction in OCPS, Ms. Beltz is delighted to return to a Christian classroom as a teacher.
Ms. Lisa Crawford, BA Grades 4-5and Middle School Language Arts

After ably filling the vacancy in Grades 3-4 last year, Ms. Crawford assumes homeroom duties and will lead the initiative to integrate Literature into Middle School Social Studies, instituting the Humanities into our improving curriculum.

Mr. Michael Rottmann, MA Middle School PE, Humanities, and Athletic Director

Mr. Rottmann is a twenty-year veteran in Lutheran Education, sporting an illustrative resume in teaching, coaching, and administration. Mr. Rottmann is excited about the Athletics with our renovated gym and soccer field.
Mrs. Susan Brockberg, MA Middle School Math and Science

Ever versatile, Mrs. Brockberg can’t wait to return to the Middle School after helping as interim School Secretary during the Summer.

Dr. Kevin Brockberg, PhD  K-8 Executive Director, Math and PE teacher

Dr. Brockberg will continue to work in the office and teach math, while sharing PE duties with Mr. Rottmann.
Ms. Ashley Braxton, BA Dr. Brockberg’s Assistant

While Ms. Braxton is a Penn State graduate, and Dr. Brockberg is a Nittany Lions football fan, her love of children far exceeds that Penn State connection.
Miss April Donati Kindergarten Instructional Aid

Miss Donati will team up with Mrs. McKinnon in the Kindergarten classroom again this year, while she continues her college preparation for teaching.
Mrs. Becky Lehenbauer, BA Primary Grades Instructional Aid

Beyond assisting in Grades 1-3, Mrs. Lehenbauer keeps our iPads synched with the latest instructional software, and begins her day in Morning Care.

You will be able to meet everyone at our upcoming Open House on Sunday, August 23 after the 11:00 Teacher Dedication Service until 2:30 pm.
