Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!
“If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music.”
“Next to the Word of God, the noble art of music is the greatest treasure in the world.”

Mrs. Julia Malenke, CDC Music Teacher
2’s & 3’s Music – Students in the two-year-old and three-year-old classrooms attend weekly music classes focused on singing, dancing, and playing games. These students enjoy time with Mrs. Malenke as she inspires these students to praise Jesus with the musical gifts He has granted to them.
VPK Music – VPK students attend twice weekly music classes that focus on experience, movement, and performance of music using voice and many handheld percussion instruments. On any day, you may find these students dancing with scarves, playing xylophones, singing in preparation for a Christmas program, or just playing fun music games.
Mr. TJ Howard, K-8 Music Teacher
Students in Kindergarten through grade 4 attend music class twice a week where they utilize, among many other instruments, recorders, Orff instruments, and percussion instruments. Students spend the majority of each class singing songs ranging from nursery rhymes and poems to patriotic songs and hymns. Their voices are featured annually at the City of Orlando’s “Downtown for the Holidays” Tree Lighting Ceremony at Lake Eola.
Students in first and second grade are challenged daily with rhythmic and solfege games. These games prepare them for “Recorder Karate”, a third and fourth grade program that has shown great success at Trinity. Through these various methods of instruction, students demonstrate a much greater appreciation for the art, realize that these musical gifts are God-given, and are better prepared for performance in middle school music electives.
Every student in grades 5 through 8 at Trinity has the special honor of singing with the respected Chorister Choir. During this class, these students also rehearse for their featured singing at the City of Orlando’s “Downtown for the Holidays” Tree Lighting Ceremony at Lake Eola. These students also have the opportunity to participate in the Trinity Ensemble, a group that features musical instruments of all types. Whether it is the music festival, Veteran’s Day program, or even a weekly chapel service, you are sure to find one of these groups using the gifts God has given them to make a joyful noise.
