Kindergarten has been studying patterns in Math. At the end of the unit, Kindergarten students got to explore patterns in 5 different center rotations. They had an art activity where they made a pattern using shapes on the back of a snake. They used pattern blocks to create their own patterns. They used counting bears to create AB, ABB, AAB, and ABC patterns. They worked on an ipad app and they had a movement center where they created patterns using their bodies such as clap stomp snap.
