As the 2018 New Year crept up upon us all, so also is the planning and preparation for the 2018-19 school year. On Tuesday, January 23 Trinity kicks-off the upcoming school year, which is sure to approach faster than most would think possible!

Plan now to join the cast from Toy Story as Woody, Buzz Light Year, Jesse, and Prospector Pete set the 4:30 and 6:30 events into motion. In both the afternoon and evening sessions, identical information will be shared for two different audiences:

• The Round-Up is a very traditional Kindergarten kick-off event, in which our Kindergarten Teacher, Mrs. Brooke McKinnon will give an overview of what a day in Kindergarten is like, and outline all that will be learned in Kindergarten throughout the year. VPK parents will find out how the “Daily Five” draw children into a spectrum of skills and activities, and how these result in the mastery of sight words, “counts down” to phonetic strategies for new words, and adds up to numeracy in mathematics skills. The Round-Up is a lively conversation about the magnificent milestones your child will encounter at Trinity in 2018-19.

• The Round Table has become a new tradition at Trinity. In small-group conversations with a pair of teachers at, you guessed it, round tables, parents interactively learn about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), Literacy (Reading, Phonics, Fluency, Critical Thinking, Writing, Literature), After-School Programs (FCA, Athletics, Coding, Art Seminar, to name a few of the growing list of options for students), and Student Services (meet Miss Abby and Mrs. E!). With an advance, more streamlined online enrollment packet, Ms. Keri Packman will be on board to guide parents through RenWeb to register for the 2018-19 school year at Trinity.

Child Care and even Hip-Hop lessons are provided for children. RSVP to:  RoundUp RSVP Form
