Primary Here We Go!

Here We Go jump starts Kindergarten journeys into the Social Studies.  Connections begin with “Essential Questions” to help children see the “big ideas” of Social Studies, and activate prior knowledge. Trinity’s aim is for students to engage in an active discussion of what they already know about their place in their classroom, community, and the world, and also encourages extensions to think deeper and beyond their own experience.

All together

Through content-based readings, hands-on activities, and technology integrations, All Together provides multiple ways to experience Social Studies content, allowing teachers and students to personalize learning.  Building upon “Essential Questions,” students think critically about key concepts: Community, Work, Earth’s Resources, Our Country, and Our World.

People and Places

Developing true understanding of People and Places means that students don’t simply memorize facts, dates, and places. It means taking what they’ve learned and transferring that knowledge to new content, situations, ideas, and to their own lives. The goal is to help students become successful learners who will remember not only what they have learned, but how to learn more about Where We Live, Working Together, Our Country Today, Our Country Long Ago, and People & Places in History.
