A GOULISH REQUEST

Well, actually we are looking for a person who would like to coordinate the arrangements for the Florida Blood Center Blood Mobile to visit Trinity’s campus.  This is a very easy task and requires someone to use their telephone or email to connect with the blood bank and schedule 4 visits for the year.  Call Deaconess Liz 407-488-1919 X 127 to volunteer or inquire.

Voters Meeting

Trinity’s Voters will meet on Sunday, September 22, at 12:30 pm (directly following the 11:00 worship service) in the Sanctuary.  We would like to invite our TLS families to join us as we discuss the calling of a Campus Family and Youth Pastor.  We visualize this Associate Pastor primarily ministering to the families who are on our campus throughout the week, so we would love to have input from our non-member TLS parents.  This is a special voters meeting that is only concerned with this single issue.  Please join us!

Grandparents Day

This Wednesday, September 11th is our annual Grandparents Day Celebration!  If you have a grandchild at Trinity we hope you received your invitation in the mail.  Enjoy chapel, classroom visits, brunch and a special performance by VPK- 3rd Grade students all in honor of our grandparents!  Reservations were due September 4th.  Hope you can make it!  The Book Fair will also be open during this time, so you can buy a book for your grandchild or his/her classroom.

Race for Education

On Friday, October 25, 2013, Trinity Lutheran School will be participating in our Fourth Annual Race for Education. We’re excited that students from our 1 year old rooms up to the 8th grade will all participate! We invite family and friends to join us in helping to raise funds in order to continue to provide a quality education and affordable tuition. Each participant will raise funds by asking sponsors to contribute a tax deductible donation. Students may walk or jog around a designated area as many times as they are able in their allotted time. Students and classes will also have an opportunity to receive a number of prizes based on their participation in the Race for Education. Specific instructions are contained in the material sent home this week. Mailing labels are due by  Friday, September 6th. Please join us in this very special event. We look forward to seeing you on October 25!

All parents of children attending Trinity Lutheran School are encouraged to become active participants in the PTL.  All families are members of the PTL and  the dues are part of your student’s registration fee.  The purpose of the PTL is to offer Christian help and guidance for parents, to bring the home, the church and the school into a closer relationship and to work in the interest of Christian education in Trinity Lutheran School.

The following PTL events are coming up and we still need volunteers for them.

These are great opportunities to earn volunteer hours (P.R.I.C.E. hours for K-8 Parents)  and have fun! Sign in sheets are available at the front office.
