Hi! My name is Rachel Rodriguez and I’m Trinity Viking’s new head cheerleading coach! I’m 22 years young and so excited for this upcoming basketball/cheerleading season.
A little about me: I am a teacher assistant at Trinity Lutheran in the toddler “Busy Bee” room. I love children and love watching them learn and grow. I have my associates degree from Valencia College and I am currently enrolled at Orlando Tech to acquire my CDA.
I won 1st place in a “Sweet Pea” pageant when I was two years old and I’ve been holding a Pom-Pom ever since! Prior to high school, I was on the Brandon Steelers Junior Varsity team and then varsity all four years at Newsome High School. I love the energy cheerleading can bring out in people and in teams!
Overall, I’m ecstatic that I’ll be able to coach and lead Trinity’s cheer squad and I’m looking forward to bringing out the Viking School Spirit!
